After the god of the earth Azura was corrupted by pride and anger, geomancy became feared and vilified across the land. Though long dead, Azura's influence is thought to live on through those who have been granted his magic. Driven into hiding, geomancers are rare to find.

Pas thinks differently. He does not see magic as a divine gift, but a primal one. In his mind, the elemental chorus is borne not from the throat of gods, but the pulsing heart of the universe itself. As chieftain of the last sovereign Fioan lands, he wears his geomancy like a badge, never shying away from what he is nor what he believes. It is his hope to convince the world that geomancy is not the undying will of Azura, that no elemental magic is the will of any god.

His genuine, good-hearted nature and goofy personality have earned him an exceptional amount of good will. With the avid support and efforts of his friend and advisor, Sab'ri'Yuum, he's found himself in highly esteemed company quite often. The acceptance of Val'En, de facto Fioan capitol, into the Central Union has lent great credence to his philosophy, and gives him hope.

I didn't feel up to fully rendering this like it deserves, so there's lore instead. Also magic effects are hard.
