This is a glass ball that holds a model of the universe. This ball stands on a pedestal that is lit with an LED lamp that constantly changes color.
I photographed the picture directly above the ball in the dark. (The same ball is even more clearly recognizable in the photo 'Universe in the planet', for a better understanding).
