Happy Mother's Day to all of you mothers out there or those who have mothers. Although we never see Emily and Will's mother, it is hinted that she is a fine woman. She may be one of those off screen type of characters, but she is still important. I never liked the trope of the kids not being able to do basic things because it is not accurate. When I was about Will's age (which is 8), I knew how to clean my own room and not just making my bed. I knew how to dust, mop and vacuum. And by the time I was nearing grade 5, I knew how to fold laundry, wash pots and pans, wash the dishes and do other stuff. And I will always be grateful to my mother for teaching me such skills so early on because they helped me for life. If I can be even half the mother she was (and still is even now) to me, I would consider myself blessed.

So please make your mother or someone who is a mother to you feel special today. And God bless you mothers out there.
