Confession time!!! My friend comissioned me (Yay! Somebody who actually is willing to commission me. <3 ) and paid me (He paid me in books. Habbi by Craig Thomson and Inhertience by Christopher Poalini) several, several, several, ten millions of months ago. I did have it sketched out pretty early on, actually I have 3 verisons of what I wanted to give him. (Which I am still going to finish and include as gift/make up art) And after a while...I just stopped working on it. Every few weeks I would colour small bit of the back ground.
Last night though, I finally put my foot down and actually finished it. I honestly really love the sun, mountains and the wing colouratoin...but the river/water falland the cliff really worry me...
I hope the composition is good. I tried to make it move, with out the charater actually in motion, so hopefully it succeded.
I am still having a very, very hard time drawing black subjects....
