Digimon is important to me.
Oh man, Digimon. I have an urge to revisit the first two seasons sometimes to see how they hold up to my nostalgia. I never did see the third.
I re-watched the 3rd about a year ago. Tames(3) and Savers(5) are my favorite, because they're the most fucked up. If anything? Digimon is just hells of a lot darker, when you go back and watch it as an adult. I didn't even noticed how screwed up the ending to tamers was, when I saw it the first time. More-or-less, Takato (Guilmon's person) realizes he can't find normal, mundane life fulfilling anymore and get's super depressed about it; a portal back to the digital world opens up, and he takes a one-way trip, not really caring if it could get him killed, or that there's no way he could ever return home.
