Commentary:
Welp. I don't think I've ever spent more time making food look that good before. This is squid ink risotto with shark on top. Before deciding what dish to have Lopu make, I made sure rice was at least something that was feasibly store-able on a ship. Spaghetti is commonly used with squid ink, but I felt rice would be more likely to for them to have.

Some characters have black mouths due to the ink. Anyone who doesn't have a black mouth simply hasn't taken a bite yet. I want to keep some mouths "inkless" in preparation for the next two pages... for reasons.

Now it's explained, or at least speculated why the sea monster attacked the ship. One might infer the reason behind it by noticing that it was holding a shark and squid of it's own and even ate them. The mystery for why it was out of "monster territory" is something I know the answer to, but that will have to wait for a later chapter.

If you're curious, the shifts for the watch will be Gervas/Yuari, Lopu/Mako, and Ivo/Tyson. The teenagers will not be made to have a watch shift. You can probably guess why Gervas is teaming up with Yuari.
