Commentary:
I had gotten the idea for the leather arm guards when I first designed Lobok in preparation for chapter 9. Originally it was a random arm accessory I had for Lubo. He was the only one who really had one (besides Usaro, whose was made of wood instead of leather) so it worked out that the origin of the arm guard would be from a fisherman accessory.

The arm guards will also confirm any handedness for certain characters wearing them, thanks to Yuari's dialogue (unless they're wearing it on both arms). Lobok and Ivo are lefties.

Originally, Gervas' pirate jargon was going to be a one-time gag used in his terrorizing of Tygo. But the jargon was well received, so I decided to keep it after all. This was going to be my ORIGINAL original plan for his character, but I was worried I'd use something inaccurately. But then I remembered that "traditional" pirates portrayed in media are fictional, so I don't HAVE to worry about accuracy.
