Commentary:
I was debating on where to have this scene. My options where to either have it in the town still or on the trail leading up to the beach. I chose in the town because it would be weird for Mako to wait until they're at least halfway to the beach to start talking with Lubo and Luna. I wanted to draw the beach trail, however, simply because I had not yet shown it yet. Oh well there will most likely be other opportunities to show it.

Oh right, I guess I never mentioned that the picnic is at the beach yet. You could probably guess that anyway based on the cover of this chapter and the fact that Lubo is carrying his surfboard. Speaking of carrying things, Lopu is carrying the bread mentioned eariler on page 2 and I honestly don't know what Olaf is carrying. Thanks for hiding most of yourself offscreen, Olaf.

Also it's the intro for Volume 2 so a reminder of Lubo and Luna's dead parents is due, right?
