that sunset evening after their ice cream, Magnum and Sable were having a conversation like they usual would. Magnum isn't one to talk about his personal experiences to people, but after hearing Sable talk about growing up and being lonely, he felt like he had to open up a bit.

he told Sable about when he fell into the river. as he was losing consciousness he had a memory from his teen years, and he talked about the nightmare he had that night after he was rescued. he felt like it was manifested from both the memory and what happened that day, and how he felt completely helpless. he didn't want to really admit it since he usually tries to keep his cool, but he was scared that day, and it still makes him feel anxious.
