This was a piece I commissioned back in 2015 in honor of my mom, who had passed from cancer earlier that year. She had always associated herself with a "rainbow pegasus" so here she is, flying on ahead to endless gardens as we say farewell, for now. My dad chose the phoenix-griffin to represent himself, as both panthers and phoenixes have meaning for him.

This lovely piece was done by Isvoc. I figured it had been long enough that it was time to share it, after checking with my dad to see if he was alright with it being posted.
