For Rory :D He wanted a concept of a lion character, and after dabbling around with different pelts, he came up with a "regular" skin that i really liked! So to incorporate some white into it, the hair and eyebrows and neck / belly should do fine :3
The lyrics are from the song, "New Challenger" by Hekireki; also known as the opening to Hajime no Ippo :)

hahaha, it probably would have made more sense to make it white now that i think about it LOL but when I'd seen your "regular" through photoshop the colors together just seemed to really work well so, yes we'll call it a happy accident that turned out quite all right haha :D I'm so glad you like him!! I'd say we team worked this pretty awesomely if I can say so me-self!~

I messed with it for a minute or so, and it just doesn't look right. The whole fade from white to the brown is pretty cool and is just very visually appealing, plus I doubt you'd find another character quite like that. We both agree on that, so it must be very likely! We did an awesome job (it was 99.9% you) for sure. :3 We'll have to do it again sometime soon, yes?

hahaha, agreed!! I'd love to do something like this again! It was really fun C: To be truthful I've already got another idea with your lion- which by the way, did you ever figure out a name for this guy? XD

I'm sort of torn between his original name Virgil (from the first lion concept I had and wrote into a story), or a more ocean-y name like Kai or Kyan. Wait, seriously? o: I'm glad he's inspiring you!

Holy hell, this is awesome. o_o!! Just what I needed for a pick me up, what a lovely character. I was thinking about making the facial hair white too, but... that actually looks really cool, since it matches the tuft and also gives him a unique little twist. Also it's cool to have a left-handed/ambidextrous character, I've never had one of those before. I will definitely be featuring this character in my gallery! Thank you thank you thank you~ definitely going to add you to my list of "people that need commissioning/boosting."
Also the band is Last Alliance. <3 Ahh man, those lyrics... just what I needed right now.
