February 17th, Happy Birthday Ryuuji

Since 2004, I had a strained relationship with my father and in 2007 he got a transplant but complication after another happened, now in 2015 he’s in a wheelchair. After he was put into an induced coma in late 2013, he started to change and while it’s still strained, our relationship has improved.

This is what, in my opinion, happened with Ryuuji. He knew he was going to die and it was just a matter of time. Ryuuji realised that he is losing Ryouta, how little time he spent with Ryouta, how much he wasted. That’s why he reached out to Isa, (which in hindsight wasn’t the best choice) that’s why he took that opportunity to do something at the end of TDTNS.
