Tarkan has lived almost his whole life by himself, jumping from forest to forest on the Inked Isles, staying at whichever one he believes needs his protection more. Has a strong sense of justice and fairness, giving out punishment himself, others often warn about when he has appeared in a nearby forest but finding him is not an easy task
