I don't really draw realistically. I was thinking about it, and I mean, I CAN, I just don't. It's not really my thing.
However, I wanted to re-affirm to myself that I COULD do it, and so I drew this! I quite like how it turned out, actually.
The biggest difference between realistic and non realistic has got to be the smaller eyes, and the softer strokes for the hair. That's pretty much all of the difference. Everything else is much the same.
I also added some shading/greys in there to define his markings. It looks good in just black and white too, but eh, why the heck not?
If I were to ever take realistic commissions, let me tell you - they'll be HELLA EXPENSIVE. Realism is by no means quick.
