Her exoskeleton, although very hard and chitenous, can also be very soft and flexible. It can repel sharp weapons yet bend in certain areas and change color with blood flow.

Thanks! She has always been my favorite MOC and I still have quite a few pics of her to post. At this scale I tend not to do a skeleton but I build each section as complete at a time as I can while retaining maximum poseability and cramming it with as much detail as I can.

Incredible work with all the detail and how cohesive she is. I'm amazed at how little of the "skeleton" of the MOC shows.
