Well now, here is a long, long, LOOOOONG overdue request for my friend EpicDragon55 who asked me to do a reference sheet for his character, Dragon. The request started with just his head reference but we decided to take it a step further and do a full character sheet. I have to say, this must have been one of the most challenging pieces I've done to date - note because of the complexity, but because it was the first time I've drawn with nothing to go on except a text description. There was a LOT of trial and error involved in getting the depiction just right. But after dozens of iterations, we finally broke through! Despite the amount of effort, it was actually a very rewarding project; it is an honor to be the one to draw the very first ref of a character. Hopefully now we will see more pictures of this fine, feisty scaly popping up. Until then however, hope you like your refsheet Dragon, it's been fun!
