Orthoceras Necklace with Buffalo Incisors by Yoik

Orthoceras Necklace with Buffalo Incisors

Yoik

Here is another fossil necklace made using a small orthoceras and a pair of buffalo teeth. The beads are all bone, some are painted black using india ink.

Othoceras is a extinct cephalopod. It's name means "First horn" which refers to it's straight shell. It is closely related to ammonite, ancestor of the nautilus.

This one is on a cord with a clasp closure.
