Tea Time *knights not invited

Xandispin

Once upon a time, in a land far, far away there lived a princess and her loyal (some what annoying) knight. One day during one of their many expeditions through the Kings Woods they came across a rather odd looking dragon sitting quite dejectedly with what appeared to be a tea set laid out on a tree stump. It even held a plate of cupcakes! How odd!

The knight sprung to immediate action jumping forward and drawing his blade. He fell into a defensive position as he cried out "Halt foul beast! Ye shall not kidnap and pillage our fair princes!"

The dragon looked up quite surprised and replied "I am no foul beast. I know not what dragons you are used to but I am from lands afar where we are quite equitable! Perhaps you could lower your blade and join me for a tea party for a tea party without guests is no party indeed."

The princess, having seen the odd dragon to be quite enjoyable, agreed readily. As she walked around her knight and approached; the dragon waved a paw and with a puff of smoke a chair appeared from thin air.

The knight gasped and sputtered out "This... this is simply improper of a princess! When confronted by a dragon you are supposed to let out a light scream and bemoan your fate as the dragon kidnaps you! This goes against tradition and it is appalling!"

The knight looks over at the dragon nibbling on a cupcake and continues "As for you, you are no proper dragon! Dragons are supposed to be terrifying! You are supposed to spirit the princess off to your dank lair to await the chivalrous knight who will defeat you in glorious combat!"

"Sir," the dragon states with an annoyed look. "This here princess and I are trying to enjoy a relaxing sip of tea. If you can not contain yourself please leave so we may dine in peace!"

"I will not stand by and..." the knight replied before, with another wave of the dragons paw, the knight found himself tied up under the shade of a nearby tree.

"There. We can continue in peace and quiet." the dragon said with a smile as he took a sip of tea.
