Private messages/notes

Refusal: I may refuse a commission on the basis of content (refer to the content policy), scheduling, or if I believe I do not have the capacity to fulfill the commission.

Payment: Payments must be sent in full to my paypal account before the commission is started. Depending on the complexity of the commission, additional payment may be required beyond that of the rates listed.

Timing, Completion and Delivery: Commissions will usually be completed in a timely manner, though more time may be required depending on the complexity of the commission.

Upon completion a copy of the commission will be delivered by e-mail or by uploaded and linked in a note. Submission of the piece will also likely occur on one of my public galleries unless the customer requests otherwise.

Cancellation and Refund Policy: I am entitled to cancel the transaction for whatever reason. If I cancel a commission then the commissioner is entitled to a full refund.

If the customer wishes to cancel the transaction before work has begun then they will be entitled to a full refund.

If the customer wishes to cancel while the commission is in progress then they will be entitled to a partial refund based on the amount completed of the commission.

Reposting, redistribution, and editing: I allow my customers to repost any of the work made for them so long as it credits back to the original source, or links to one of my gallery pages. Reselling or redistribution is not allowed.

Editing such as coloring line art or corrections is allowed for purposes of commissions, so long as the other party is informed that they are being delivered edited work. Referencing is also allowed. Paying another artist to edit or color the pieces is allowed.

References

Preferred references: Visual references are most preferred over any. Text references are allowed but please at least try to provide a visual example of what you're expecting the picture to be like.

Safe/clean references are also preferred over adult references. Any reference that depicts nudity or is pornographic needs to come with an NSFW(not safe for work) warning attached.

Personality, mood, and interests are also acceptable if you wish for me to depict the character in their usual state. For example, if you say they are normally upbeat or happy, that can make for a reference of what expression to choose.

Do provide a color reference or color swatch if you want a colored commission piece. I am not very good with choosing colors based on descriptions and my monitor displays different colors than what most people have.

Unacceptable references: Profiles, backstories or race bios are not acceptable references. Please only supply information that is relevant for drawing.

Final Remarks

My style is my own and I have a hard time mimicking or copying other people's styles. If a customer intends for me to draw as if I'm another artist then there may be a chance that my commission may not be to standard.

Editing will only be done during the sketching phase so please point out any changes needed to the piece whenever I hand out a rough sketch. No changes will be made during the phases of lineart or coloring unless a correction to colors needs to be made.
