their shtick is that 2 will raid a settlement and make life hell for the residents and then X will come along and offer xyr services to get rid of that nasty raider menace. In the end they’ll make off together with all the things that 2 raided and all the caps that X stole while collecting the reward money.

x is genderless master pickpocket and sharpshooter with bpd. Xe tries to avoid actually killing people though, because you can’t con a corpse. Xyr interests are pretty narrow minded, revolving mostly around stealing and looting and gambling, though 2 makes sure to hold on to enough of their caps to keep them from going broke. Xe doesn’t care much for technology, if a door or a safe is locked through a terminal it’s too much work for xem.

2 is a trans girl with multiple mental illnesses that she refuses to let X diagnose, who can’t remember anything about her life until a few days before meeting xem. she has a pipboy on her left arm, and while she’s sure she didn’t grow up in a vault she’s not sure when or where she got it. She does get plenty of use out of it though, meticulously logging what the two do, and appreciates it’s use or playing back holotapes so that when she finds something interesting she doesn’t need to describe it herself. She always wears a mask because seeing her own face makes her dissociate. While being the calmer of the two she’s much more vicious in a fight and could easily handle X if the need were ever to arise.

they stick together out of necessity, neither one liking the feeling of being alone and both of them needing someone who can understand them.
