Frozen- Within Temptation

Woo! Finally got the chance to finish this! For those of you who came, this was the piece I was working on during the Livestreams; it's finally done!!

This is my trade with Blaize955 on deviantART, that took WAY longer than I had anticipated because of my perfectionist tendencies. We first agreed to trade... I think sometime around October? Maybe earlier. Either way, this has been a long time in the making. I originally had drawn out a piece with her character Skye and her lantern, linearted it, scanned it, and then it sat on my computer while I did college things. After a while, I went back, took one look at it, and gagged. It looked like poop. Thankfully though, I had just gotten Within Temptation's album, The Heart of Everything, and had heard the song Frozen and was instantly inspired to make a piece of her character, Frostbite. Then I just began working on this during breaks and lulls in school work, and Ta-da! We have this.

I am extremely proud of this drawing, you guys don't even know. I wanted to use this opportunity to practice more realistic fur direction and shading on a wolf, coupled with a realistic-ish background. While I do feel that I need a little more practice with fur direction, overall this was a success! And with that, since this semester is over in less than two weeks, I will be turning my attention back to my traditional art. :3 I'M SO EXCITED TO HAVE SOME FREE TIME AGAIN!!

I honestly don't know how long I spent on this, but I do know I put a lot of effort into this. I hope you like it Blaize955 !
