For anyone new to my characters, it's Fern and Denver, from my novel "In the Enemy's Territory!" My favorite gay couple. Denver is always happy when Fern comes home after a trip into town. He always smells like he had a fun time with Baxter, but more importantly, Fern's always happy to have Denver in his arms after a fun time with Baxter.
I worked on the original sketch. I gotta say, I don't know how other artists make such clean line art. "Don't chicken scratch" is their advice. HA! If I could figure out cel shading, I'd do a lot more colored stuff, but I haven't found any good tutorials. Not like, theory, actual layer by layer, step by step, everything explained along the way (WTF does "multiply" mean for the color and why would I remember to set the layer to that?). The technical side has been difficult to find and any help would be appreciated.
