This took me about 2 weeks to make. Everything you see I did by hand with my tablet and Photoshop CS5. No references were used. I feel absolutely honored working on this cover for Mr. Murray and I'm grateful he took a chance with me and my art! Thank you so much!

Available on Amazon and Lulu as eBooks for the Kindle! ;p

The concept art and summary entise the viewer, but I feel like this cover's typography doesn't do it justice. I feel like keeping the background highlights of the text to a minimum would improve it. That and it's not good for text to touch one another generally. Maybe making the font solid color would've made the background gradients compliment it better.

Normally, I don't critique anything, but I felt compelled to give this input, given that everything else about this book (art and summary) was an eye catch.

Sorry for the late response D:

Thank you very much for your critique <3 Unfortunately, the author didn't give me much info other than the colorization for "DISCOVERY" so it was a lot of referencing from the myriad of books I have for text guides. He plans on writing more for the series, so that should leave room for me to improve on text. Thank you very much! <33
