The Flying Betta Fish by WolfMama

The Flying Betta Fish

WolfMama

Yesterday my last betta fish, George Foreman, died. He was the last of a group of six fish that I owned. I had many fish come and go but George and another fish named Gregory were special to me. Greg loved to eat off my finger and George always paid attention when I called his name. Betta are smart little guys; I like to think of them as underwater cats. XD

So I painted this sort of as an homage to every Betta I've ever owned. Each color (except for green) on this flying fish represents the colors of Bettas that I've owned. I've had Purple and blues the most, reds the least. This fish has one eye because George only had one eye.

I paint very rarely, but I really like the way this came out. :3

Painted with acrylics on 9x12 canvas.
