A series of drawings I made to celebrate Halloween involving several my friends' characters. I was inspired by this song here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zEGbIpD6wNo. Which I used as a basis to make a little story. And oh boy, a running scene, huh? Hmm, yeah, I def struggled a ton with this one. It was probably the drawing that took me the longest and most effort out of the entire mini series. And even still. I honestly really hate it since to me it feels so stiff and awkward. I wanted to draw the character running through a scary forest but just wasn't able to figure how to get that kind of scared, manic energy into the pose, so it was really unsatisfying in the end. I even looked up a couple different references for a runnng pose but even the more dynamic ones just didn't seem right for the kind of feel I wanted to get across. On the plus side, I think I did an alright job both with the expression and with the bare trees in the background, though I did get a bit lazy with it, so the background is bare in more ways than one, haha. Having a little tiny bit of mist was good though.
