Well, this is it. Not just the last set of drawings I did for the insect drawing assignment, but also the last drawings I did for Draw A Box before I ultimately gave up on the whole venture. I had tried sticking with the website for a couple months, but after all that, I felt like I simply was not improving at all, in any way. Maybe I was missing something, but seeing everybody else talk about how impressed they were with their own progress made me uncomfortable and insecure. I ultimately dropped the curriculum after deciding that maybe it just wasn’t for me. Oh, and I also remember I had hurt my hand at some point during it all and wasn’t able to draw for quite a while. After I recovered is when I ultimately decided to make that decision.
