Yes, it’s meant to be a desert. I didn’t really know how to portray a desert or portray sand in the ground itself, so instead, I just added a bunch of set pieces that I hope would be enough to clue people in, by which I really just meant the Cacti and tumbleweed. Sorry, that was the only things I could think of when thinking “desert themed props”. Again also, with the sharp cliffs. Hmm, I think I might have a thing for that. Also, I like the dead, twisting trees. Finally, shoutout to those distant, um, sand dunes? Yeah, I really like how I drew them very lightly so as to imply them being blurred from the distance. Didn’t even realize that initially. Of course, don’t get me wrong, I’m not actually saying this is well drawn or anything. C’mon, I’m not oblivious, y’know.
