Oh hey, that’s a pretty cool title I’ve come up for myself there, haha. I’m pretty sure I heard that phrase from somewhere else, so I guess it’s a reference to something, but I can’t really remember what it’s a reference to. There’s no actual reason why this is in red ink, this was just made during the same time I drew those insect drawings, when I had lost my pencil. I think this was pretty interesting, having the distinction between the foreground, midground, and background, though if I had to say something, I think the mountains are way too geometric. They’re just triangles, without much organic movement in the line work.
