So I am really, really into Roman history right now, mostly late republic and first few (clowns) emperors after Augustus. Watching Rome and reading Simon Scarrow does that to me.

Anyway... I wanted to draw Adrian again and I wanted to put him into one of those amazing helmets. (The red cloak was obviously not appropriate for a centurion, but whatever. I wanted to colour more red.)
Yeah. That broom helmet is fabulous. But it had actual practical use, so there is that.

The whole legionnaire get-up is probably impossible with wings, but I don't really care because this is just a stupid doodle of Arie with a red broom on his head.
