I was never a fan of how Dragonair,an elegant Eastern-style dragon, evolved into Dragonite, a silly Western-style one, so while I had some downtime tonight, I decided to let it take a different route through a fake evolution. The end result: A creature whose name comes from "Dragon" and "Monarch," but also alludes to an "Archangel" to demonstrate its truly divine status.

This, I feel, was the final form Dratini truly deserved.
