Yu-Gi-Oh Playmat - Lesser Dog (Undertale) by Wilren

Yu-Gi-Oh Playmat - Lesser Dog (Undertale)

Wilren

This is the kind of thing that happens when I cross fandoms. XP

I actually started work on this months ago, but forgot about it. With Undertale coming out on the PS4 and the advent of the new Link Monsters bringing about another change to the playing field layout, this seemed like a good time to restart it. This go-round, rather than just having Lesser Dog's neck go in straight lines across the mat, I decided to use it to outline the card zones, dropping the dialogue options that pop up while you spam the *PET command along the way before we finally reach the end off to the left.

It's a sporadic mess and I love it. :D

This fan creation was made purely for fun and is not meant for sale or profit.

If you want to have this image printed into an actual playmat, all I ask is that you credit me for it. And maybe buy a copy of Undertale if you've never played it before. It's a great game, you ought to try it.

I love it! And the best thins is, it doesn't have to be for Yu-Gi-Oh. Maybe some Magic the Gathering, or even Pokémon TCG.

True, though technically that's true for any playmat. XP This one's just specifically designed for YGO.

Glad you like it, though. Thanks! ^_^ (Note to Weasyl: Comment edit button when?)

That is true, though I personally don't see anything that makes it specifically designed for YGO... o.o
And that was one of my favorite parts in Undertale.

Cripes, I'm...what, 3 years late responding to this? Anyway, Lesser Dog's neck takes the goofball track it does for a reason; it's actually tracing an outline of the various Card Zones for YGO. It loops around the rightmost Spell/Trap/Pendulum Zone first, then the Deck, up to the Graveyard, loops around a Main Monster Zone, then darts up to the Extra Monster Zone and off the mat entirely for a moment...etc. etc. until finally finishing up just after the Field Spell Zone.
