Spirited Diplomacy (1/3)

Wifewolf

Ever since the peace treaty between Alliance and the Horde, relations between the factions had been improving and the two factions had begun to work together for the better of Azeroth as a whole. To this end despite being in Duskwood, which was a majority Alliance zone, the city of Riversong was definitely not Alliance only, and the mayor had worked hard to make it a welcome place to both factions. Many races of the Horde now lived within its walls, and many more passed through on the way to Stranglethorn Vale or the new Horde town in Redridge. That said despite being open to all, Duskwood was still run much more like an Alliance city.

One of these passing through was a Huojin pandaren monk by the name of Miyuki, who like many other Pandaren had left Shen-zin Su, the Wandering Isle, to visit Azeroth and learn about it. Of course, being a Huojin she had joined the Horde and not the Alliance when she left and so was not as accustom to the Alliance way of life. She, like many other Horde members who had not passed through an Alliance city before, found herself overwhelmed by the differences in culture and the layout. Fortunately while out and about meeting her constituents, Mayor Aura happened to come across Miyuki and offered to give her a tour as a welcome, during which she learned about Miyuki's life as an adventurer. Being a former adventurer herself, Aura invited the Pandaren back to her office for a drink and some talk about their respective careers. Of course Pandaren are well known for their ability to drink, and the mayor is no light weight herself, so this is only the beginning...
