Every summer, in the small town of Gilroy, CA, there is the Gilroy Garlic Festival.

This thing is humongous, drawing people from all over, just for some nicely-flavored cloves. There's also the Stockton Asparagus Festival, but having been to the two, I like garlic better. Plus is doesn't make my pee smell for a day after.

They have garlic wine there. They have garlic ice cream which, combined with pecan praline, is pretty damn delectable. Also, garlic fries with lobster salad. Yum!

After a full day (and probably 5000 calories) we left satisfied, and with horrible breath.
