For Strawhat Fido, a purple dalmatian. I really like pastel colours, and the goatee just worked for him ^.^ He's got a lot of verve.

No, I am happy to share. The fur is shaved with a hairclipper. Takes a number of passes / brushing to even it out. Also, letting the blades cool a bit between passes and keeping them properly oilled helps. (Esp when they begin to bind up on the really fine fibers in fauxfur as compared to actual hair)
As for seams, brush them out from both sides. Something to do while watching a movie as it may take a while. :)

omg, im sorry but, if i may ask, how did you get the shaving so even? and how'd you make it virtually seamless? i understand if you don't want to tell though XD it's totally fine
