This Fanfiction follows my sole survivor, Vaelyn's journey through the Commonwealth as she seeks to find answers to what happened and recover her son, Shaun. The Fic may contain spoilers further down the line but I will make sure to alert those when they pop up.
Vaelyn is the typical military spouse, knowledgeable in how war changes the world but was in the state of mind that it couldn't happen to her. She was the daughter of several generations of conspiracy theorists who had prepared her for basic needs in case she'd ever need to defend herself from the future. Nothing could have prepared her for the horrors of the New World that had flourished in the wake of the bombs falling. This is her story.
