ayyyy i haven’t drawn a thing in days but here’s a character thats been kickin around my head all day

i’ve always been super invested in robot/android (cyborgs too i guess) characters (yall remember my portal phase??? yeah), i only realized how heavily i identify with them recently, especially after reading some of the manga pluto, which i need to finish like damn. i’m literally mont blanc btw, but anyway. it’s kind of hilarious given how two of my favorite characters of all time are space core from portal 2 and clear, who is also an android, BUT I NEVER MADE THE CONNECTION UNTIL AROUND THE TIME DAFT PUNK WON A GRAMMY. them fuckin coincidences.

so i’ve been TRYING to think of a robot persona but it’s really difficult. thinking up robot designs is hard when you spend most of your time looking at lolita fashion and nothing else. i could just make it look human and call it a droid but like, i want it to look like an inhuman machine. that’s the part i identify with - being an object that thinks and feels, and has a heart and a soul despite being wires and plastic.

so yeah here’s a robot. it does not have a gender. it likes to mod its chassis based on aesthetics it likes, and it wears clothes for the same reason. it is largely uninterested in human culture and society, but is delighted by their fashion trends and bright colors. its name is probably star or something. it is just as intelligent/sapient as any average human.
