As an ex-CIA agent, Ziegler's wealth of experience and knowledge regarding the scuddy politics between bureaus, agencies, and governments makes him one of the most valuable members of the FIRM. Known as Zig or Ziggy, he comes as part of a package with his protoge, Alex Greene.

Zig enjoys heavy metal music and his guilty pleasure is reading back issues of Weekly World News.
