Having a bit of an art slump here so I thought mebbe a sketch would help me get my drawing mojo back.

And since I'm here, a little bit about Laiko the horse thief here:

Rough-mannered, self-centered, friendless and aloof, Laiko is a restless loner determined to survive Texas long enough to make it to Colorado for some reason or another. Morally ambiguous, he is definitely narrowminded about his goals but he's not without his moments of reflection or compassion. He is a strongly right-wing thinker with anarchist tendencies, and isn't terribly religious. 'Laiko Rush' is not his real name; the name 'Laiko' is a traditional Russian dog name meaning 'Barker', which in itself is unusual.

Rumour has it he was born and raised in a carnival to a family of Russian acrobats. How or why he left the circus is unclear, but he ended up as a cattle driver for a local ranch in New Mexico until he was arrested for horse theft. Story has it that on the day he was slated to be hanged, he was rescued by the horse he had allegedly stolen. His current bounty stands at a few hundred dollars for horse theft.

Laiko's primary skill is in acrobatics. In addition to trick-riding on horseback, the cat is also an accomplished escape artist and an extraordinarily difficult catch, hence the unusually high bounty on his head. He's a crackshot with a pistol off or on horseback, and likes smoking and drinking. Unfortunately he's terrible at gambling, has very few social skills, and isn't very smart. He cannot read, write or spell, though he knows how to write his own name (his real name), 'I love you' and 'Mississippi'.

He also claims that his great-grandfather was a mountain lion.

Currently he's on the run from the Rangers, Pinkertons and bounty hunters, but for some reason he's not making a straight beeline for Colorado like he claims to be...
