Evraion

Werdnairon

A normal submission version of the character post:

Name: Evraion

Gender: Physically::Female, Racially::M'larian

Age: Physically::26, Racially: 312

Class: Priestess/Healer

Elements: Primary::Rock, Light, ::Secondary::Water, Dark

Evraion is mate to Wyrdnairon and mother to Tink. She comes from a long line of priestesses, healers, and others that are similarly socially centered. Due to this, her bloodline is affected to naturally fall to the side of larger breasts and wider hips, to give a more motherly appearance, and therefore subconsciously ease patients [humans in particular, since they're traditionally very xenophobic].

Hailing from a Habitat fleet of floating island-ship far offshore, her people did business between the deep-sea Merai and the small coastal villages on the nearby isthmus' at the neck of the river heading up to the Forests of Everrain. Evraion, back then blue and finned, found herself drawn to the islands' caves rather than it's waters when she wasn't working or being trained in mandatory Light-magic lessons, which she excelled at. When she got the chance, she left her home village to travel inland, eventually making port at a Habitat within reasonable distance to a temple of Light-Priests, and a week's distance from a Gaian tunnel. Her appearance changed, to become more heavyset and lost the fins, her skin became brown-tinged rather than blue, and she began learning more advanced Light and Earth magics. Her studies at the temple accelerated her skills through the roof, and she quickly left even the experts behind, and began conducting her own studies by herself.

While studying at the temple, she first met Wyrdnairon, who was then acting messenger of the Crystolian High Council to advice the temple on action on a nearby ring of [admittedly fairly minor] necromancers who were being misdirected by a [not so minor] Skull Puppeteer with the intention of inadvertently triggering the next Skull Crusade. Evraion assisted, but was perturbed to find that her Light abilities regarding dealings with the Dark were considerably sub-par.

Wyrdnairon and Evraion hit it off quite well during the resulting raid and over a few other visits to the temple, and developed enough rapport for Wyrdnairon to move to the same Habitat, although he still officially operated out of the Council. They grew close enough to be considered a couple, and although Crystolians traditionally remain unattached, neither particularly liked the idea, and stayed monogamous. Wyrdnairon eventually went on his mission to Earth, while Evraion stayed behind and became, over time, a highly-esteemed member of the Habitat, her services reaching far outside their immediate locality. Still a bit miffed at her lack of education in regard to dealing with the undead and the Dark, she turned her focus to such studies, by this time becoming quite proficient in Earth Magic, specifically in the styles of Boulder and Underground from her dealings with the Gaians.

After Wyrdnairon's unexpected return and the rise of Fantasmuul and his Skull Crusade shortly after, Evraion spent less of her time at the Habitat and focused her efforts on assisting the High Council with rebuilding, as well as working as an adviser for the sudden influx of magical, dimensional, and scientific discoveries and creativity that came as a result of the newly-issued era of peace. During this time, she and Wyrdnairon achieved the necessary quantity of time needed to create an egg, which eventually gave birth to Tink. Evraion and the egg were given quarters at the Council while Wyrdnairon went back to Earth to deal with Fantasmuul's resurrection there. Following Wyrdnairon's "promotion" to SoulSmith, she balances her time between the Council and the Habitat, sometimes making pilgrimages across the land to help those in need.

After the hatching of her daughter Tink, Evraion and Wyrdnairon would sometimes sneak her out to other dimensions for educational trips, to help her learn about as many things as possible, since her capacity to learn was much faster due to her chronological instability. During one particular outing, Evraion and Werdnairon decided that social interaction was a much needed lesson that Tink should do as soon as possible. They brought her to a hub world known as Waypoint, where she could go to a school with a great variety of races, so she wouldn't feel singled out. While in Waypoint, Evraion acts as a fortune-teller, healer, and herbalist, engaging in activities reminiscent of Earth's Native American tribes.
