Family Portrait by Warrior2lover539

There were so many colors. So much to use to make the blanket slate of a datapad made to be bright and filled with color.

Was so thought the young black and red colored sparkling femme.

Young Frostbite laid upon her belly, gently kicking her pedes that were sticking up as she grabbed and placed back her colored datapad pens whuch she was using to draw.

She gently placed her chin on her left arm while the other was out to have it's freedom to move about.

Her sapphire colored, bright orbs flickered to the pile of datapens. Choosing just the right one before scribbling, creating a series os lines and curves; circles and swirls. Constantly changing rhe colors in attempt to match the colors of the three bots in her drawing. Being herself, mother and father. She held it up, the glow lighting her face, her own white faceplates illuminated with a soft tint of a whitish blue and her optics turned from sapphire to a bright azure. Also because of the luminous glow of the datapad. She frowned slightly. Some of the colors were wrong. Instead of a dark gold, her father was yellow and her mother's color psttern were supposed to be a dark gteen and turned out to be a plain green yellow. Well, she couldn't blame herself really. She didn't have that many colorpens to begin with.

Other then the colors it was well enough to ber sparkling standards. The a bright smile forming on her face, she eagerly skipped over to the closed door of her berthroom, but as soon as she was going to open the door. A scream could be heared.

A wave of fear swept over the sparkling as she slowly opened the door of her berthroom with a small, shaky servo.

Opening a crack in the door she could see her father, Soulcaller. Standing in rhe middle of the living room with a blank frown on his face as he stood still as a black and green stripped femme circled around him, screeching like some crazy cyber-bird.

"I've had it with you!" She screeched. "I'm sick of you! And I'm sick of being here! I'm leaving!" She screamed and stormed off that she shared with the near giant of a mech, who stayed competely silent.

At that point the little femne scurried over to het berth and pushed the drawing she had just finished as soon as the sound if pedesteps came coming their way to her room.

With quick thinking Frostbite pulled a completely random sparkling story pad and began to seen interested in the pictured that flashed onto tge screen.

Poking his helm a soft smile spread onto his lips at the sight of his young daughter, looking away at the pictures on her story pad that she might have grabbed from her shelf.

"Frostbite?" He called causing the femme to look up.

"Yes Papa?"

"Would you like me to read to you?"

The sparkling's optics flashed, "Oh yes please, papa!" she chirped.

Smiling more, the very tall mech walked over. Scooping his daughter up in one swift move he slowly sat down. Holding Frostbite close to his spark while he held the datapad to read.

"Once upon a time.."

Frostbite laid her audio over her father's sparkchamber and listened to the massive spark give mighty beats. Relaxing to the sound.

It was at the sound of the door slamming shut did her father stop reading. The hold around the sparkling changed as well, she looked up at him as he held her closer. Sadness fill his optics and only looked back down to commence his reading once again. Frostbite only snuggled in and listened to both her father's reading and his spark beating, unaware to what had just happened.

I know that the title doesn't really go complete with the story, it's just that I couldn't see myself continuing more. ;;

This kinda tells Frostbite's backstory a bit. Her mother never really cared for her father. Her birth was proceeded by a one night stand (in her mother's thoughts.) But in the end results her becoming sparked. She herself didn't want to walk around, knowing she was sparked. She waited around 'until the kid was old enough to finally ditch them.'

The result was for Frostbite to grow a string hatred for her mother and to be with her father most of her time, growing anti-social abd preferred it that way.
