A species I created when stuck on a long bus trip. These bat-like aliens pretty much end with their outward appearance and have a very, to us, bizarre biology. Copper based blood, thermally attuned vision, and a use of something more like chitin rather than the bone and keratin most of us mammals are used to seeing.

One of several things I have made using some pseudo-science to let them be somewhat believable even if they stretch some minor points (primarily vision) for the same of plot and fun. Also the result of me looking up too much developmental biology and other things in my lab.
