Maractus may look like a pretty cactus in the desert, but it's really a clever stationary predator. Waiting for those to come near and sniff its alluring pink flowers. The Maractus then grabs them and stuffs them in, adding more than just water to its body. Next time you see a Maractus and it looks something like this...it may not just be water.
