Captured during the breeze home, Caju was knocked out and stuffed in a matchbox for discreet transport to the land of griffins. After being passed from pony to pony to griffin, he started to wake up, and knowing his plight, began to yell and smack the inside of his prison. The messenger griffin knew someone may hear and opened the box, only to knock him back out with the flick of a claw, and bind his hooves with floss and tape his mouth shut. An unknown amount of time later, he was finally delivered to the powerful griffin with a taste for the exotic who ordered his capture. Awake inside his jail, he heard all of their plans and on his way to the kitchens, he managed to free his legs and pull the tape from his mouth. The very moment the chef opened the box, Caju leaped into the air and attempted to escape. Unfortunately, being a breezie, he flew far to slow to do more than prolong his demise. Back in the claws of the chef, he struggled and struggled to get free, and at just the moment the griffin brought down the knife to end the scene, Caju rolled with all of his power and managed to avoid certain death, at the cost of his wings. In agony and with adrenaline rushing, Caju jumped with all of his might from the counters and landed hard on the floor, breaking his leg and multiple other bones. The chef, being lazy and not wanting to actually catch him, substituted the bulk of the soup he was making with a mouse and chopped up a tiny bit of the wings into it for the 'exotic' flavor. No longer in immediate harms way, he made his escape from the griffins lair and has been wandering Equestria ever since, trying to find his way home.
