The United Kingdom Coastguard operates several aircraft, including a total of seven helicopters for SAR (Search & Rescue) missions, as well as the Cessna 404, Riems-Cessna 414, Douglas DC-3, & L-188 Electra for mostly pollution patrol, whilst the 414 & 404 are used both for Surveillance & Search & Rescue.
