US Airways prior to its merger with American Airlines is a member of Star Alliance, it will soon join American as a member of oneworld and will retain the AAL livery, but operate as a separate entity, keeping the heritage airlines PSA Airlines and Piedmont Airlines (both of which were acquired by US Airways in the 1980's), with US Airways managing American Airlines operations at Dallas-Fort Worth, and keeping the hubs at Phoenix-Sky Harbour, Charlotte-Douglas, and Philadelphia International Airports.
