You can see that the eyes are made of this plastic mesh stuff, and the holes perforate the whole eye rather than the iris and pupil (like most suits). This allows for better vision, and is fairly discrete from a distance, but a bit obvious up close. It's actually the way I designed my personal suit.
As for the fur... you can comb it over and smooth it out, but there's a visible line between the fur that was there before the muzzle lengthening, an the fur that was added after the lengthening. Again, discrete from a distance, but obvious up close.
