You Can Get Lost

Volt Siano

And it can be glorious thing.

The other day I was listening to Testify, by NeedToBreath. I was thinking it would be a nice song to draw a picture for, and as I continued listening, an image similar to this formed in my head. I think I actually managed to capture what I was going for, and I'd like to say this is one of my better works.
But hey, don't take my word for it; what do you think? Anything I could've done better? Anything you really like about this? I'm all ears to whatever you may want to say!

As of March, 2017, I found a way to increase the darkness and color after a piece is scanned, so from now on, it'll be a little different than it once was.

    Hah! Like I've ever seen snow-capped mountains! (Heh; heh-heh... Uhhhh, boy. . .)

    It looks good; and I think it rather fits the song nicely. Since it's a night scene, I would suggest a darker blue, like navy. Unfortunately, your character gets a little lost with the surrounding light blue (I'm no lighting expert, either.) But that's my suggestion. :}

    I always had this picture in mind when I heard the song "Buried Beneath" by Red; I just don't think my skill is up to it, haha.

      You're correct on both those points. My printer causes some of the color to be lost, so that's part of why the blues are so light. If you tilt your screen back a bit, to the point where the image starts to darken, you can kinda' see what the original piece looked like. As for how I blend in, it can be a bad or good thing, depending on what you want to see. I personally wasn't trying to make myself the centerpiece in this work, so the fact that I blend in kinda' helps with that.

      As for your second paragraph: this sort of picture specifically? Like, the one that I just drew? Or are you using the word "this" in a general term, like "I had this idea..." One way or another, I myself had doubt's going into this piece, but I figured it would be worth a shot; I think I actually surprised myself with this one. I'll bet that you could do the same for yourself. L=

        "This" as a general idea. Probably should have used "an" instead. Sorry for the confusion. Yep, I'll have to give it a shot one day.
