Art has been slow lately because I just don't have the mental energy for it. Anyway, I recently started doing more character building with my jester that I made almost 2 years ago, and slowly realized how parrot-like they were. Constant threat of getting bit, human-like speech but very clearly something "wrong" about it (in this case, it's gibberish spoken very quickly, but the individual syllables sounds very human), manias and chaotic energy, bright and colorful appearance, playful and upbeat personality. Up until they bite you for fun.

So, I drew Ingannare as a macaw.
