Spent a lot of time today (and a bit last night) reworking Griffon's reference! Really happy with the redesign, even though it's not a huge change. Haven't done much with him yet, even though I still doodle him.

Changes:
-(Unnoted) changed his nationality. He used to be of European descent, but is now a full-blood native of my worldbuilding kingdom.
-Made his accent color more prominent. It used to only be used for his wind magic, but now it's the color of his eyes, inner mouth and tongue, pawpads, claws, and flesh. Blood is still red, but the tissue itself is now turquoise. He doesn't have any visible scars, but they'd be a greyish, slightly pinkish turquoise.
-Added a third color to his wings. Previously, the leading edge and inner feathers were both the same dark brown, with the back feathers being the fur color.
-Brightened the cere color to a more vibrant purple.
-Darkened and slightly reddened the lion fur. Weasyl actually did it to me once, because the site occasionally decides to change the colors slightly on images.
-Added more info. Made him sound less hostile, and more just introverted and somewhat cold. He's aloof and distant, but not antagonistic. he was like this before the war, but moreso after.
-Changed the lion part of him from Asiatic, which didn't have the right colors, to Barbary, an extinct lion with notable dark coloration on the mane and tail tip.
-And just for me, I finally updated his color swatches in Photoshop. His inner ear color used to be mixed semi-randomly each time.
