This was a quick graphite on cardstock experiment I decided to try while looking for a new type of paper to draw on. As it turns on, I fuggin love the cardstock for my style with graphite, so it's what I've been drawing up since.
The two qualities I like about cardstock is that it's heavy and thick, and the surface of very very smooth. I tend not to like course paper, and I like something that can handle me workin on it for a long time without seeming starting to damage the paper, since I use a couple different grade of graphite and a couple other tools on all my work.
As for the picture, I love the way it came out, but I feel like Ciacyl's head turned out a little bit smaller than I intended. It doesn't seem that way on the original. Probably me crappy scanner murdering it. I donno.
It's just a pic of him looking happy with a cup of tea. As for what the hell he's supposed to be, he's something like a dragon-ferret.
I'm gonna be making profile pages for him and all my other character here and/or on my own site.
